In response to the interest of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council in participating with a lighting concept in the area of the Isla de la Madera square with the Recoba Vieja exhibition hall and the Guimerá theater as a stage for the stage arts performances that will be held During the first edition of LUZ SIN LIMITES 2005, the following actions are proposed:
Recoba Vieja Exhibition Hall
It is intended to highlight the entrance on the main façade of the Recoba Vieja with a projection of light in green on the natural stone that marks it and a strip of the same width projected on the pavement.
A mixture of colored light of different shades will be projected on the two Laurels of India.
Guimerá Theater and square in front of the theater
In the upper part of the main façade of the Theater, it is intended to project colored light with dynamic change in the center and light in a fixed green tone on the two sides. Mixing color changing light with static color light will produce an interesting play of color gamuts.
In the part of the square in front of the theater, four ellipses of green light on the ground will be projected onto the stairs and near the sculpture as an invitation to people to enter and participate in the performances in the Isla de la Madera square.
Recoba Vieja Exhibition Hall
Said projection will be carried out with THORN trademark projectors, using two CONTRAST C2 model projectors with a green filter, one with symmetrical optics and the other with asymmetrical optics, installed on a new 6-meter-high column.
For the projection of colored light on the two trees, a total of ten PINSPOT COMPACT projectors will be installed with a rectangular base and yellow, green and red filters from the THORN trademark on the main branches.
Guimerá Theater and plaza
The projection in the upper part of the façade will be carried out with projectors from the THORN commercial house, using in the central part the SPECTRA C2 PROJECTOR model projector with its corresponding control and programming system and using two CONTRAST C2 model projectors for the sides with Symmetrical optics and green filter.
