In response to the interest of the President of the Parliament of the Canary Islands in participating with a lighting concept on the facades of his building in the Fiesta de la Luz 2005, the following action is proposed on the facade of the porticoed entrance of the historic building, as well as on some detail of the façade of the extension of the same, which houses the great sculpture.
1. The projection of a background of colored light in two warm tones to highlight the columns of the portico in negative on said illuminated background, as well as the accent lighting on the shield that crowns the building.
2. The lighting of the front courtyard through accentuation of Chirino’s Afrocanes and a light band that marks the axis of access to the building.
3. In the extension building the great sculpture of Chirino will be illuminated.
Main entrance facade:
Said lighting will be carried out with ten projectors with dichroic color filters projecting light on the background for the negative vision of the portico columns.
In addition, the shield of the pediment is accentuated, by means of an accent projector.
Estos proyectores son 10 del modelo Focal-flood con filtros dicroicos de color naranja y amarillo y se instalarían en la parte alta del trasdós del pórtico Además se instalaría 1 proyector del modelo Beamer de ERCO, acentuando el detalle del escudo.
Access yard:
There will be accent lighting on the two sculptures by Chirino (Afrocanes)
Said lighting will be carried out with 2 Beamer model projectors with a red dichroic filter, from the ERCO trademark installed on the patio pavement, focusing on the two sculptures.
CHIRINO SCULPTURE:
In addition, the great sculpture of Chirino is illuminated.
Said lighting will be carried out with 1 projector of the Beamer model of the ERCO trademark focused on the large sculpture in its central part.
REALIZATION (IGUZZINI)
The installation of 2 Flash model projectors of the IGUZZINI commercial house has been projected, to generate lines of light that indicate the actions from the distant perspective of Teobaldo Power street.
